Hello, I’m Mikey.
Also known as Michael or Mike (apart from the time someone called me Richard for a year, and I couldn’t find a polite way of correcting them).
I’m a freelance creative, most recently at House 337 (formerly Engine/WCRS).
I started in the industry as a designer and artworker before attending the Watford Ad course and realising I’m better at copywriting. I now operate as a creative hybrid. I’m as comfortable with a headline as I am with a layout.
In my time, I’ve:
Recruited for one of the toughest jobs in the world (Prison officers).
Sunk a celebrity in quicksand.
Helped families find missing loved ones.
Encouraged drag lovers to connect with nature.
